athletics

The athletics program at St. Paul’s is widely popular among many students in the elementary and Junior High levels. These after school programs give both boys and girls an opportunity to put their physical skills and loads of energy to good use. St. Paul’s sports are not just a play period, but an important part of our educational program in helping children grow physically, improve in coordination and skill,sports2 develop character and self discipline, and demonstrate Christian behavior on and off the court or playing field.

The athletics program has these components: The school holds membership in the Valley Christian Athletic League, which makes possible a complete interscholastic athletic program for boys and girls in grades 4-8. St. Paul’s also participates in annual tournaments with several other WELS Lutheran schools in Southern California. Our sports program includes flag football, volleyball, track, basketball, softball, baseball and soccer.  For sport schedules: Schedules & Scoreboard.

Below are links to forms that are essential to student participation in the athletic program.  Please read through the material with your children.  It will give an overview of how the athletic program fits with the ministry and mission of St. Paul’s First Lutheran.
